Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson

Acapella.  It is singing without instruments, and usually some groups use their voices to make instrumental sounds.  Well, one movie uses acapella throughout the whole two hours of the movie.  Do you know the “cup song?” I would figure you would considering it was so popular in 2012.  The movie is Pitch Perfect.
Almost everyone has seen the movie, whether in theaters or in the comfort of your own home.  One person in the movie everyone knows, the one that brings the laughter, is ‘Fat Amy.’  Since we all know her as Fat Amy, I think I should tell you about Rebel Wilson.  She is the one who brought humor to the whole movie Pitch Perfect.
Rebel Wilson born on February 3, 1986, is an actress and comedian, but she also has a law degree sort of as a backup in case acting was to fail her.  Rebel was born in Sydney, Australia, and had an interesting childhood.  It’s not a childhood a normal kid would have.  Rebel spent her years growing up traveling across the country selling canine products, because her parents were professional dog handlers.  Rebel began acting in Australia, and studied at the Australian Theater for Young People, and was soon known for her humor.
Rebel has been in many movies over the years, and her biggest breakthrough was in 2011 for the movie Bridesmaids. Rebel has been in more movies that deal with adults, but she has done some movies that are for kids like: Ice Age: Continental Drift, and Kung Fu Panda.  As you can see Rebel didn't have an ordinary childhood.  Although, you can see that Rebel had a gift that was a natural talent of acting.  Yes, that may have helped Rebel with landing spots on shows, and movies, but she has tried to make her dreams come true. Rebel is one example of true talent and hard work, and you can tell that Rebel is never going to let her career just pass her by, she is going to live in the moment like everyone should.

Shailene Diann Woodley

Well hasn't everyone heard the buzz about that movie called Divergent or the book? Well if you have never heard anything you must live under a rock. I'm being completely serious too. Anyway, I'm going to focus on the leading actress in the movie Divergent. You know that pretty girl playing the lead role? Yeah her.

Since you probably know nothing about Shailene Diann Woodley besides her name, and that she starred in Divergent, I'm going to tell you some things about her. She has had a very successful life being a former model and now an actress. Shailene will have more exciting things to come. At age four Shailene had began modeling for commercials. She must have been a gorgeous baby, because I know I couldn't have became a model at age four! Shailene was born/raised in Simi Valley, CA. Her parents are Lonnie Woodley, her father, and Lori Woodley, her mother. Shailene had a small family with it just being her parents, her, and her little brother Tanner Woodley. But, Shailene didn't have a perfect life as many of you may think. She had went through some pretty hard times. I would think that a tough time in her life would be when her parents divorced when she was 14.
The trouble doesn't stop there if that's what you're thinking. A year after that, at age 15, Shailene was diagnosed with scoliosis, a medical condition where a persons spine is curved from side to side. Although those things may have affected Shailene, she still continued to chase her dreams. Jumping back to when Shailene was five was when she started acting. An agent spotted her and thought she had potential, so he took a shot on her. Although her parents knew she was going to rise to fame, they had made an agreement when she was old enough to understand to abide by three rules.  The three rules were: she must remain the person that she is, she must stay/do well in school, and she MUST have FUN.
In 1991 Shailene had landed a role in  the TV movie- Replacing Dad. Then in 2005 Shailene had starred in  a movie called Felicity.  Then six years later, in 2011, she appeared in a movie called, The Descendants. Starring as the daughter of George Clooney. That is probably one of the movies she is best known for and since she starred in five different seasons of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Now we can jump up a few years to the year 2014, where she starred in two major movies. One is, of course, Divergent. Shailene had starred as the lead character Beatrice, where she lived in a universe that was separated into five different factions, which is a small organized group. Then the second movie, which is the BEST movie/book ever, is called The Fault in Our Stars. In that movie Shailene starred as the lead character Hazel. It's basically an epic love story. A MUST READ AND MUST SEE!
Well, I think I did a pretty good job with informing you about Shailene. At least I think I did. Anyway, as you can tell from this whole blog about her that she has had a pretty cool life. I think she does at least. Shailene's career isn't ending anytime soon, it is merely beginning my friends.  You will see Shailene is many more movies to come. For those of you Divergent fans, as you already know, there is going to be a second movie, and third movie! Which is Insurgent and Allegiant.  Insurgent comes out in theaters on March 20, 2015, and Allegiant comes out in theaters March 18, 2016. So make sure to go and watch it!
